Allyson is a nationally board-certified Diplomate in Acupuncture — earning her Master’s degree in 2008 from Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine in Gainesville, FL — and is licensed in both Florida and Georgia. Upon graduating, Allyson began her private practice and joined the faculty at DRCOM teaching, assisting and supervising interns in the student clinic until 2017. Throughout much of her time there, Allyson became a direct assistant of Dr. Leon Hammer in writing and lecture collaborations and coordinated seminars for him.
One of the very few Certified Shen-Hammer Pulse and COM instructors in the world, Allyson continues to collaborate with Dr. Hammer and regularly teaches pulse seminars in the Southeast. She is a Certified Level II Biomagnetic Pairing Therapist, earning her Diploma in Biomagnetic Pairing & Bioenergetics from Goiz University, and has performed thousands of scans in multiple cities and states over the years.
A retired Respiratory Therapist, Allyson comes to the Atlanta area with over 30 years in the medical profession, bringing with her a unique approach to wellness.
On a personal note, Allyson is married and a mother of 4 grown children and 2 terrier-mix puppies. She grew up in Florida and loves all outdoor activity, gardening, water sports, live music and spending time with friends and family.
